Manta at SeaWorld San Diego Track Completion

March 6, 2012

SeaWorld San Diego is opening up a family launched coaster this year. Similar to Verbolten at Busch Gardens Williamsburg but without the drop section. The ride’s 2800 feet of track have recently been completed. Now all that’s left is finishing up on the theming and then getting the ride ready for its opening this summer.

The ride looks like it will be fun when everything is finished.

You can see more Manta pictures on the SeaWorld Facebook Page.

I havent heard too much about this ride. I doubt it will be better than cheetah hunt or verbolten. I wonder why though Busch Gardens and Seaworld Parks are putting in these family friendly launching coasters. They seem like a good idea, a thrill for everyone. I just hope this one will be good like the others seem to be.
