Roar at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

July 9, 2011

Roar is a wooden coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in California. It is a terribly twisted tower of track.

The ride starts with a drop into a few turns and then the lift hill. The drop turns us to our right and into a spaghetti bowl of track. Winding and twisting through hills and turns as we fly faster and faster. We fly over an airtime hill, around a turn and then back underneath for some head choppers (supports that come close to your train). We still have a few more turns before we hit the final brakes.

Roar was fun, although it was a little rough. I am giving it a 6 out of 10

Have you been on Roar? What do you think? Please comment. Thanks for reading. šŸ™‚
