Corkscrew is a coaster at  Cedar Point. When it first opened in 1976 it was the first coaster to go upside down three time, and span a midway. It was also my first coaster with inversions.

The ride starts with an 85 foot lift hill before falling back to Earth. A small hill comes up next, it gives a small amount of airtime. The loop follows this, it is a bit tight so you get shoved into the seat. There is a small straight section that provides a break in the action, it leads to a turn. A pair of corkscrews are next, they both are a bit bumpy but still fun. Up onto the brakes we roll and back into the station.

Corkscrew is a bit bumpy but not the worst in the world. It is very short too. I am giving it a 3 out of 10.

Have you been on Corkscrew? What do you think? Please comment. Thanks for reading. 🙂
