Iron Dragon is a suspended coaster at Cedar Point.
Iron Dragon starts out with a lift (like most coasters), there is a short drop down and through the woods we go! There are lots of turns around the trees, at one point we get pretty close to Mantis‘s supports too. There is a second lift that allows for a pause in the action before finishing with the ride’s finale, a pretzel shaped helix over a lake with steam rising from it, it is a neat element since Cedar Point has virtually no theming on their rides.
I find Iron Dragon very fun because it isn’t meant to scare you, it is just made to entertain, I think that this is my favorite Suspended coaster out there (although I never went on Eagle’s Fortress). I am giving Iron Dragon a 7 out of 10.
Have you been on Iron Dragon? What do you think? Please comment. Thanks for reading. 🙂
